Never really taken it seriously though. Just like to spend an afternoon under my parasol, sitting in my camping chair with&nbsp;drinks cooler beside me, watching other boarders and buggiers go by.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Yeah, I suppose you could call me a fair weather flyer.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I own&nbsp;an&nbsp;8 year old&nbsp;Peter Lynn Race buggy which I've had from new.</DIV><DIV>It has an extra wide axle and adjustable suspension.</DIV><DIV>To be honest, it's&nbsp;seen better days.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I use a rubber door mat&nbsp;for a seat, as my big ass has worn the original away.</DIV><DIV>You may laugh, but it's pretty comfortable.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I fly only race kites, of various sizes and makes, as I&nbsp;love nothing more than getting some extreme down-wind runs.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I would consider myself as "not bad", I no longer do the walk of shame for instance. </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I can't do any tricks and&nbsp;I don't know any of the jargon surrounding this sport. </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I just do what I do and love it.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV><img src="http://www.racekites.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0">&nbsp;Cheers.</DIV><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by RedSkyHorizon - Today at 3:34am</span>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.racekites.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=13167">skypirate</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> Ok to fly like this ? - FAST<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 10 May 2008 at 2:06am<br /><br />I also find this comes from flicking the brake lines over the powerlines when you've got them in a tangle.&nbsp; Like menetioned before lay the kite out with the lines straight and untangled,&nbsp;take the lines of the kite and undo the twists, then re-attach the lines and you should good to go.&nbsp; These twists in the bridle don't affect the kite handling that much unless there are alot or its gone round a few times.&nbsp; Though one thing it does affect is the breaking&nbsp;point of the bridle and for each twist can reduce the breaking point by 20-30%.]]>

What I do lay the kite flat on the floor, bridles facing up, indoors so the thing isn't flapping about, get hold of the bridle tips and just take interest at how the lines are wrapped around themselves. You will have to hold the bridles away from the kite to judge this. Then by passing the bridle ends back around themselves, moving them inside out if you will, the crossovers should start to come out. What I see is this happening if the kite is put back in the bag without securing the bridle ends/knots off before packing. Not a hard or long process.<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>]]>
